Viola FBLA had an outstanding time at the Arkansas FBLA State Leadership Conference in Little Rock on April 6–8, 2026.
Thirteen Viola students attended the conference with Adviser Kevin Thrasher and Mrs. Regina Snelgroes. While there, students competed in person, met FBLA members from schools across Arkansas, and represented Viola with excellence.
We are proud to share that Viola FBLA received the Hollis and Kitty Guy Gold Seal Chapter Award of Merit for the second year in a row.
We are also excited to announce that four Viola students qualified for the FBLA National Leadership Conference in San Antonio, Texas, which will be held June 29–July 2, 2026:
Meredith Deane – 1st place, Securities and Investments
Norman Huihui – 3rd place, Technology Support and Services
Aaysha Trueman – 3rd place, Website Coding and Development
Joey Harber – 4th place, Computer Applications
To wrap up a successful trip, the group enjoyed celebrating together with a nice meal at Texas Roadhouse on Tuesday evening.
As we begin preparing for the National Leadership Conference this summer, Viola FBLA is seeking financial support to help these students make the trip to San Antonio. If you or your business would like to support our students as they represent Viola on the national stage, please contact Viola Schools or Kevin Thrasher.
We are so proud of all of our students for their hard work and accomplishments.

Ms. Stone's 4th-6th grade Gifted and Talented students have been busy learning about the Fibonacci Sequence. They concluded the unit by creating art based on the sequence, showcasing how math and creativity come together in amazing ways. From spirals to patterns found in nature, their work highlights both their understanding and imagination.

On Wednesday, our Elementary Quiz Bowl team competed in the annual Coop Quiz Bowl Tournament at Ozarka College in Melbourne. They placed 1st in their division going undefeated! Then they played in the championship game against the 1st place team in the larger division and lost (but barely) securing a 2nd place trophy. We are so proud of them!!
