Attention Parents/Guardians
Today, our school conducted a state-mandated lockdown drill as part of our required safety procedures. Please know this was only a drill and at no time were students or staff in danger. These practice drills are an important part of ensuring that everyone knows how to respond in the event of an actual emergency.
Thank you for your continued support in helping us keep our students safe.

Several VHS students traveled with Ms. Jennings on Friday to view the traveling exhibition, Get In The Game, at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art. Students also had time to enjoy the permanent collection in the galleries and the Art trails on the grounds.
Crystal Bridges is home of the largest collection of American art in the world, and thanks to a generous donation from the Walton Family, the permanent collection is free for anyone to view.

Viola High School students had the opportunity to attend an inspiring assembly on Friday, September 19, featuring Tom Coverly’s “Destroy Illusions” program.
Tom Coverly, a professional illusionist and motivational speaker, combined eye-catching illusions with a powerful message to challenge and encourage students. The presentation took place during Longhorn Time and 6th hour and left students with lasting reminders about choices, character, and the importance of seeing through life’s “illusions.”
We’re grateful to Tom Coverly for bringing this unique and meaningful experience to our school!
