The Viola School Spelling Bee for grades 4-8 is this Friday, December 2 at 9:30 AM. Students have already participated in a Classroom Bee to qualify for the School Bee. The top 6 finalists will head to the County Bee in January. Parents of the students who qualified are invited to attend.

Basketball Update Tomorrow nights games with Timbo are not at Viola. Instead we will travel to Timbo with the jr girls and both sr teams. Games will start at 5 pm. The Jan 17 date scheduled to be at Timbo will instead be at Viola.

Superintendent Aaron Wiggins from Shirley has announced that, in honor of Veteran's Day, anyone who will show their military credentials at the gate of Friday night's games in Shirley will get free admission. They will also recognize all veterans during halftime of either the Senior girls or Senior boys game. Tonight’s junior high games at Sloan-Hendrix will start at 5 pm. The order of games has changed to accommodate the Sloan-Hendrix XC teams leaving fir state. The junior girls jv game will start at 5 pm, followed by the junior girls varsity game. The boys games will follow in the same order, junior jv, then varsity. Both girls games will be played first, then the boys after.
