Viola Senior High track athletes had a strong showing at the Senior High Track Meet held Wednesday, April 28, at ICC. Several athletes earned top finishes, including multiple first-place performances.
Peyton James had an outstanding day, placing 2nd in the High Jump and earning 1st place in the 300 Meter Hurdles.
The relay teams also performed well. Peyton James, Morgan Newberry, Cheyenne Newberry, and Jaden Fry placed 2nd in the 800 Meter Relay and brought home 1st place in the 400 Meter Relay.
Missy Wilson earned 1st place in the 2 Mile Run, adding another strong finish for Viola.
In the 1600 Meter Relay, Peyton James, Nikki Miller, and Aryanna Allen helped lead Viola to a 1st place finish.
