What an amazing first appearance at the State 4-H Horse Judging Contest for Fulton County 4-H!
Eight Fulton County 4-H members traveled to Fayetteville to compete, and they made history by bringing home the State Champion Team title in their very first year competing in this contest. Fulton County’s Junior/Intermediate team earned 1st Place Overall, a huge accomplishment and a moment to be proud of.
Several students also earned outstanding individual honors:
Cannon N. placed 2nd Overall Individual and also earned 2nd Place in Halter and 2nd Place in Performance Classes
Bayler W. placed 6th Overall Individual
Korben P. placed 10th Overall Individual
Reagan N. was a member of the 4th Place Team
The State 4-H Horse Judging Contest challenges students to evaluate horse conformation and performance while developing valuable life skills like decision-making, communication, and attention to detail.
A special thank you goes to 4-H leader Dustin Wright for all of his hard work preparing the team for this contest.
We are so proud of these Fulton County 4-H members for representing our county so well and for such an outstanding performance at state.
Congratulations to all involved on this incredible achievement.
