Viola’s own Taylor Richardson has earned a place among the nation’s top young basketball players, securing a spot on the All-Star team at the Nike Phenom National Girls Camp 2025, held August 7–10 in Los Angeles, California.
The Nike Phenom National Girls Camp brings together elite female basketball talent from across the country for a weekend of advanced instruction, competitive play, and national exposure. Over the course of the four-day event, athletes participated in intensive agility drills, layup exercises with alternating hands, timed sprints, and competitive skill challenges designed to elevate their game.
In addition to skill development, the camp featured highly competitive games that gave players the opportunity to shine in front of national scouting services. Each participant also received a detailed written evaluation to help guide their continued growth in the sport.
Taylor’s selection to the All-Star team reflects both her skill and determination on the court. Her achievement is a source of pride for the Viola community and an exciting milestone in her basketball journey.
