Eight girls from the 8th grade class attended the Girls of Promise Conference in Little Rock on Friday, April 7. This conference is put on by the Women’s Foundation of Arkansas and is designed to teach girls about careers that are available to them in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math). The girls got to meet other 8th grade girls from all over the state and learn about new and exciting and careers!
